<p>As you can tell I think being a dentist would be pretty sweet…I’ll get into half these schools, but not their 7 yr Combined Degree Programs…which sucks, but I’ll live even if I have to become a dentist the old fashion way. </p>
<p>Yale and Lehigh/Penn will most likely reject me, and punch me in the face for even applying. But that’s okay because UCONN is my number one by far, for academics, location, lack of cash money, and my girlfriend.</p>
<p>Well, You’d have a much better shot if your SAT scores were better since the programs stress those scores, but your grades are good enough. Good luck!</p>
<p>Out of curiosity, what about dentistry interests you more than the other health professions?</p>

<p>To answer your question, it was actually baseball that got interested me in career in dentistry. I know that doesn’t make sense but let me explain…I was at my baseball leagues 11 year-old all-star practice on a hot sunny day in the middle of the summer. My coach put me at catcher (which I have never played before) of course with no pads, mask, or decent glove. I stood up to recieve a ball from one of the outfielders just as an infielder threw another in my direction. Needless to say, I only caught one ball…lol yeah ouch. The other one hit me directly in the mouth and broke my tooth in half. The force from the impact sent the other half threw my lip…then came the tears. To make a long story short I pretty much spent the next week or so in the dentist’s office. If you spend that much time anywhere, to keep from getting bored, you might try to make friends right? Well, who are you going to make friends with at a dentist’s office? So I ended up becoming friends with my operating dentist, Dr. Becker, he told me all about his career in dentisty, his time at dental school in Ohio, and for an 11 year-old, I guess I listened pretty well.</p>
