<p>a/c’s at Stanford? I don’t think any dorms have those. What all dorms do have are heaters which turn on when it goes below a certain temperature (you can control how hot you want your room with a dial). I have a blanket now but I didn’t freshman year and I dont remember wanting one (I use mine rarely as it is). I would however get a small portable fan. It can get decently hot during the day but if you open your windows and turn on a fan you should be fine. I stayed on campus this summer too and in the summertime it can get hot but I just bought a big fan and that did the trick just fine.</p>
