[] Why I think I was accepted/rejected/waitlisted: When I handed in the application I said: “this is me”. Even though it is a small application, I tried to put a piece of me in it so that they would have an idea of who I am. Included passions: music and helping others close to me and far away.
[] Other thoughts: I am very grateful and excited!

I was originially too lazy to post this, but then I thought of all the upcoming prospective Hoyas who were like us (frantically comparing stats from last yr to our own), so here it is:

Other Factors: Jesuit High School who traditionally sents to Georgetown

General Comments/Congratulations/etc: I’m happy with my acceptance and plan to enroll next fall… advice to prospective students: just do your best and really that’s all you can you… if Gtown doesn’t accept you, someone else great will…

“I’m white and applied for aid, what was I thinking?”

haha sry i never replied to this… umm I just meant that a lot of private schools have quotas. like 45% receive aide, and only a certain percentage can be white, and only a certain percentage can be from maryland (which was probably my biggest downfall, cuz a lot of Maryland ppl apply to Georgetown). I was just bitter on being rejected, lol. I’m going to go to Notre Dame, (changed my mind on UMD, thought I wouldn’t get in to ND) and I’m in the top 20% of the accepted people there… which is weird… ND is #20 academically on US New & World Report, Gtown is #23.

anyway congrats to you guys who got in!!!
