[] Why I think I was accepted/rejected/waitlisted: probably my low numbers compared to others, and the competition within my school of those applying to MSB
[*] Other thoughts: After seeing everyone else’s posts as to who got rejected with their amazing stat’s, i was expected to be rejected. Although I would LOVE to go there, I’m not surprised at all. Congrats to all of those who made it!

Stats:[ul]
[] SAT: 2310

[/ul]Subjective:[ul]
[] Essays: Very good (I think)
[] Teacher Recs: Excellent

[] Hook (if any): See Other Factors
[/ul]Location/Person:[ul]
[] State or Country: Missouri
[] School Type: Jesuit

[] Gender: Male
[/ul]
Other Factors:
[ul]
[] Extracurriculars: 4-year debater, national qualifier. Literary magazine, NHS, science club, math club, community service for the MDA
[] Why I think I was accepted/rejected/waitlisted: Had to be the essays/recs. My GPA is low because of Fr/Soph years and I think the recs made up for that. Also, I wrote one essay I was really proud of, about how I want to do Constitutional law, and the best possible place for me to prepare for that is Georgetown undergrad.
[li] Other thoughts: I was shocked to get my acceptance, partly because my first two years’ GPA was not good. Also because I wasn’t sure that even my 4.3 average for Jr/Sr year would compare with stratospheric GPAs elsewhere. (My school makes it a lot harder to get your GPA much higher than that, and I think we grade a little harder than most. And the fact that we don’t rank means comparisons are kinda hard.)[/li][/ul]
