On the website they say they don’t start releasing decisions until DEC. 1, from then on you are notified on a rolling basis, early action guaranteed by Dec. 23

^really??? damn i was hoping before thanksgiving :(

I know that Purdue sent out unofficial “peace of mind” letters telling some people that they had been admitted. Does anyone think there’s any chance that Michigan will do the same thing?

This year is anybody’s guess. In the past, they released notice on a rolling basis starting Nov. 1 but still occasionally released BEFORE that. The whole EA/Common app thing makes this year wide open as to what they do when.

I don’t think U-M will send out Peace of Mind letters. Purdue does it because it doesn’t start to release any decisions before the decision date in Dec. U-M says that it’s decisions will be released “by” that date, so there’s no reason not to just send out a decision.

they said on their website they release decisions starting in mid december and everyone who applied early will know by dec 23 hopefully i get in =( 3.75 uw 32 act

How does Michigan notify students of admissions decisions? On the Wolverine applicant page or by mail?

^ They do both. Wolverine Access is where you’ll see your decision first, then a decision will be mailed to you shortly after.
