Class of 2016 has record yield; a few off the waitlist for Medill

Wow congratulations to your son! That’s very exciting. Let us know what he decides.

Since the article was written, some people have withdrawn due to waitlist activities elsewhere. Because the communications school is rather small, even a couple withdrawals by comm school admits would trigger drawing from NU waitlist.

I posted on another thread, but I thought I would post it here as well: My son has accepted the spot at Northwestern.

Woo-hoo! I still feel a pang of regret for the school he originally chose, but he’s very excited.

As I said we said in the other thread, WELCOME to the newest Wildcat! If you’re like our family, both you and your S will be thrilled with his new school!!

Yes, MomCares, I was rather attached to his old school, too, but I’m quickly starting to love Northwestern. I think the education it offers, combined with the incredible location in Chicago, will keep my son happy and productive for four years.

CentralFC and other new Northwestern students: School of Communication and Medill are absolutely, positively not the same thing. Don’t do it again :-)

School of Communications and Medill are the same thing.

Did it again.

^I don’t really get the joke, since you’re definitely wrong.
