Apply to the dream schools, but also be realistic about them: “This school is VERY expensive and we won’t be able to afford it UNLESS they give a lot of money in financial aid/scholarships. So sure, you can go ahead and audition for it, because you never know…but just be aware that financially, it would be a long shot, so don’t have your heart set on it.”</p>
