We’ll see what happens on Friday. In my opinion in seems that too many people have the housing change to make the theory reliable. NYU is a selective school, so if there is any change a lot of people shouldn’t have it.
I have no financial award available with no year set, but I am able to sign up for housing as a Freshman for the fall of the year. I was a member of Tisch High School, so I have some experience with the school. Also, I’m extremely involved, I’m a URM first generation, and I have pretty great academics. I am a little worried as to why my FA hasn’t changed, but I also believe that most people shouldn’t worry. Don’t forget that THOUSANDS get admitted, and THOUSANDS apply there are bound to be mistakes with a school as big as NYU
@UltimateDreamer yet again… College Confidential doesn’t represent NYU’s applicant pool as a whole. Most should get in. Look at the stats of people who ask for chances. Its higher then NYU average or in the 3rd quartial. And the fact most of us are here everyday shows that we really want to attend NYU and hopefully showed it in their essay. Saying it doesn’t work because a lot of people got it(which isn’t entirely true) makes it false. They’re better reason why it doesn’t work.(the site is buggy like the amazon rain forest)
The percentage of getting into a school doesn’t matter if you don’t understand what it means. Look up Baruch College. The acceptance rate is lower then NYU but if you look at the stats of people who get in its way lower then NYU.
Please everyone this is a life lesson not only for college applications, but for life. Look through the whole story and data. Don’t base conclusions off of one piece of info.
