In 15 minutes Iāve added two more college auditions to her calendar.
I should be her agent when all is said and done.

You know, I was a little sad the road-tripping was coming to an end with my youngest anyway! 
She is such a trooper. Sat here and cried for about 10 minutes. Then told me to find more programs for her to audition for.
I should point out that Rockford did admit her to their Theater program - w/ a chance to re-audition for MT. So sheās keeping that as an option.
And there are several of you (who I donāt know if they want to be publicly outed!) who have sent me good thoughts and other options via personal message. SO THANK YOU!
I will continue to say that things happen the way they do for a reason. She will end up where they GET her. Where they WANT her. All will be good.

This may not be the right place to ask this. If not, please direct me. My Dās U of Miami Cane portal just changed
and it says, āCongratulations! You have been admitted to the U of Miami for the Fall 2015 semester to begin your studies in Theater Arts in Undergraduate Arts and Sciences.ā What does this mean? Does this mean she has not been accepted to the BFA MT and they are trying to re-direct her? Is it the academic acceptance and she is still waiting on the BFA MT program? We are so confused! Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
She should give them a call. Or wait for the snail mail, which may be clearer. That message sounds like a redirection. Academic admissions weāve received have not referenced a specific major. I hope Iām wrong.
@MTmom67 - hard to tell since they offer a Theatre Arts major in their Theatre Arts Department under College of Arts and Sciences. This could be department general or major specific.
Here we are, March 12thā¦itās been a quieter week than I had hoped!
Next week is sure to be crazy! The quiet before the storm!
Elon should be this weekend, I keep thinking UMich will start (they notified 1st week in March last year) so it could be anytime in the next 10 days, and CMU always seems to be around the third weekend in March so maybe around the 20th this year? Too much waiting! Too many trips to the liquor store!
My daughter got into her fourth MT program yesterday! Anyone know much about Lindenwood Univ. in St Charles MO? The theatre facilities are fabulous!
I saw a post on the notification thread that CMU is going to notify 3/25 via snail mail/portal (available 3/28) rather than phone calls - if thatās true itās a new thing, and another 2 weeks to wait
@MTDadandProud concerning Elon, they are holding a make-up audition tomorrow for anyone who had to miss their last audition day due to the weather issues. I donāt know how this will effect decision notifications, but it could possibly push into next week.
Can I just say how thankful I am for this forum?
Though Iām still being driven crazy on a daily basis, you guys are a bunch of awesome.

So ā¦ Email invite to join FB page for accepted students from a school that doesnāt do academic acceptances separately. Havenāt heard anything else. But, this was an audition that didnāt go well, so Iām expecting a snail mail with a redirection acceptance. 
Bummed to hear about Elon delay! Weāre also waiting on Boston University with itās new MT concentration, but pretty sure they are sticking to notifying 3rd week in March.
been ghostinmg thses forums all year - have not had much to add. son has one yes that actually came last november after audition, and one waitlist. haws anyone heard when Emerson might really send acceptances? they say april1, but some writers here say sooner is typical. same with muhlenberg (his first choice is carnegie, (2100 kids combined acting and MT, 24 total in both programs - odds are not good) but, that has already een addressed here).
Has anyone heard from BW today? I know someone posted a no on Tuesday and someone else posted they had heard of a couple of yeses. Still waiting here on the East coastā¦
