As a 2021 Mom about to take my baby girl to the other side of the country, your stories warm my heart and fill me with hope. This separation process is harder than I imagined back in the excitement and angst of auditions. Back then it still seemed like a distant dream. Now it’s here staring me in my tear-stained face!
@sopranomtmom … my baby girl is 8 hours away, now a junior in college and I STILL cry every single time. I don’t think it ever gets easy! Lots of broken leg wishes coming your way for a successful college experience!!

@KaMaMom I know!! Junior year already. Seems impossible. So happy to hear about your D’s triumphs 
Mine has Callbacks for Fall show on Wed. so hoping that goes well. She had a terrific summer stock experience though, and is so much more confident than she was when she went through her college audition cycle (and of course, her skills are growing too) - It is really an amazing transformation that they go through, isn’t it? So glad to be able to hear about what all our kiddos are doing.

Yes! D has had several of those moments of “Whoah… I’m planning SENIOR year!” Then she shares those with me, and I feel the same! Crazy!
Just last night, we were FaceTiming, and D, her roommate (another junior MT), and I were talking about it again. They’re in disbelief, too.
And, yes, I hope everyone is soaring, too!
