I was not happy with the lighting of my D’s prescreen, but I just had to let that go. Luckily I don’t think they are judged on production quality!

@MTRaleighmom - we had a funky buzz at the end of one of my D’s prescreens and she passed anyway. Like someone else said, I bet they only watch 10-20 seconds anyway!

I agree with vvnstar follow U Mich’s instruction to a T. I know of an very very talented young man that was accepted into several top programs last year that didn’t make it past MI prescreen. He either went over the time or made another minor mistake I can’t remember exactly.

Anyone hear from Elon, Coastal Carolina or Michigan yet? If so, how long after you submitted did you get a response?

Or Ithaca?

I read Elon will notify on 11/3. We heard from Coastal fairly quickly… In less than two weeks, I think. Our UofM will go in later this week, so no idea on that one.

Thanks @MTmom2015!!

Thanks!

Last year UofM had two distinct notification dates, each corresponding to a prescreen deadline. The first was a mid October deadline that resulted in an early November notification, and the other was a late November deadline that resulted in a late December notification. I would assume they are doing something similar this year - those deadlines and notification dates should be available on their website (that’s where I got the info last year.) Also - they seemed to stick pretty closely to that first notification date, but from what I remember the last couple of years - that December date always seems to get pushed back a bit.

Passed the Penn State prescreen!! less than a week from submission to decision!

Woo Hoo @MTkellbell!!! Love how fast PSU got back!!

Thanks @kategrizz! I found it and it says by Nov 15th

Interesting article…

The first sting of rejection came today for my D.
it was a pre-screen for Texas State. Submitted 10/7. This is a necessary evil to get used to in this process! Would have loved that tuition! Hope to see some acceptances posted soon.

Sorry to hear that, MTRaleighmom.

@MTRaleighmom, ugh! Sorry! Just means it wasn’t meant for her. We have to keep that as our mantra.

That is so true @tmygirl! She took it pretty well…no tears at least! They are facing a lifetime of acceptances and rejections…they have to learn to brush it off and not kill themselves with the question why!

@MTRaleighmom - so sorry! When did she submit? My D submitted 10/9 and we have yet to hear.

@addicted2MT she submitted on 10/7, so I’ll bet you’ll hear in the next couple of days…fingers crossed for you!

Woah submitted to Pace this morning and passed the prescreen within 2 hours. Talk about quick!
