I just called the Admissions Office and was informed that decisions will be releases on a Tuesday December 15th.

I know…my daughter said the same thing. She was stalking this thread too. So I just called to put her out of her misery, and that was what they told me. Maybe they’re just saying then surprised us later today?

Some schools tell callers that decisions will be released Tuesday, but then they still release them early anyways (ex: Vanderbilt sent out an email earlier saying they would release today even though my friend had called them and was told that it would be released Tuesday)

Hey guys! I’ve been following this thread for a while, finally got around to making an account. I called the admissions office yesterday, and I was told that the results will definitely be out before the 15th, but fingers-crossed for today (of course, calls made today are going to be more accurate than calls I made at 6 EST yesterday). The explanation: they’re checking on servers and the portal, making sure everything is running smoothly before all of the decisions are supposed to go out. So, decisions are probably all done (given the post by the student working in admissions), but they’re just making sure we can actually see those decisions once they go live. The rational voice in my brain is telling me that I’d prefer to wait until Monday if it means the results will be up in a way that staves off future headache for all of us (as in, if the site were to go down after Pomona uploads results, I’d pace a lot more, and continue a pretty frustrating cycle of nerves->casual pacing->nerves until I combust, naturally). The anxious/excited side wants results terribly, and has stress-eaten an indeterminate number of pretzel sticks since I got home a little while ago. Fingers-crossed, and good luck to all of us!
My college counselor called yesterday and they told her the decision would be out by the 15th, not on the 15th, so here’s hoping it’s sooner!
Hmm a friend of mine called yesterday too and they also said it’d definitely be out by the 15th. Also, in the past 2 years, they’ve released it on Friday. I’m really hoping it’s today because I’ve stressed out so much and I can’t handle that like for another 4 days haha
Haha, me either. I took my last final on Monday, which means I have a lot more time to not focus on chemistry and a lot more time to focus on this. I’m trying to make myself at least semi-productive while I run back to check this thread and my email every twenty minutes, in hopes of my email not looking a little different (and preferably with a shiny new message from you-know-where).

OH MY GOD THIS IS STRESSING ME OUT SO MUCH! Plus I went in today and asked my counselor if they had requested my transcripts/progress report, and THEY HAD and I know that doesn’t mean anything for sure but I got really excited! (I had 3 B’s, but they are all in AP classes, so I still had like a 4.3…)
