Adding D16’s final decision, Princeton

By the way, I’ve given up on counting the decisions – I seemed to be the only one keeping track and I don’t have time to recount every day. It is looking pretty colorful but many have not yet updated.

Son made his final decision: Princeton!

MODERATOR’S NOTE: I’m sorry, but links to google docs are not allowed. I will have to delete the ones in this thread. I understand that the list is too long for one post. It will have to be split into multiple posts. Thanks for understanding.

@MaineLonghorn if you delete all the links, how will we get the info out of the document to put on this thread?

Wow, that must be a new policy.

No, it’s not a new policy. Only links to authoritative websites are allowed. The link to the Terms of Service is at the bottom of each page.

One clue should have been when the early google doc link was filtered with asterisks - that tells you the site doesn’t allow google docs. Masking it with the tiny url is not allowed.

Hmm, thought it was just because the link was so long. Frankly, this site just doesn’t have the necessary features to handle the list as it did in the old days. I’m afraid I won’t be able to moderate the acceptances list using this thread – it was already a mess before it grew to 15 pages. Sorry everyone.

@LKnomad The doc still exists and can grow and it shouldn’t be too hard to find. Also, I just archived it on the WayBack machine.

*Just to further explain (and this does not require further comment) because of the number of teenagers on this site, experience with other sites shows that without these rules there tend to be links to rude pictures and other undesirable images, as well as links to garbage sites. Not only because of the teenagers of course, but that tends to increase the problem. If we allow links that are not obviously to trusted sites, we will get a lot of these things. We cannot possibly look at every posting like some sites can, and this way people can report links without having to click on them to see what they are.

I understand this is occasionally inconvenient, but it definitely serves the greater good. Agree, disagree, that’s fine but them’s the rules. Thanks for your understanding.*

I decided to attend Yale.

We can’t link to it, but can still maintain The List. Please PM me if you need the link. If you want someone to update it on your behalf, please ask when you announce your news. Thanks!

Also, if someone wants to copy the info back into this thread, I certainly have no objections.

Hi @crowlady, could you please update it on my behalf?

If I have some time next week I don’t mind starting the transfer. But it will be a few days, if someone has time before me.

Someone must have already done it @frenchtoastlover . Congrats on your choice!

I have committed to UPenn! Could you update it on my behalf, @crowlady? Thank you!
