@marg928 and @lincoln56 same here. Auditioned at Chicago as walk in and got an acceptance with a nice scholarship! It takes a huge load off of S’s shoulders to have an acceptance from a school that he would be happy to call home for 4 years.
@HighNotes - my D was placed on two WL her audition year - and although sometimes that means not finding out until after May 1 - in our case, she got definitive answers from both prior to May 1 - (1 offer, 1 decline) Best of Luck!!

Heading to Tallahassee this morning. Only 2 more to go! Very mad at myself for not getting tickets to see their production of Beauty and the Beast earlier. Completely sold out!
Ohhh, @marg928 , gotcha’! Yep the stress involved in this process is a bit overwhelming. @owensfolks I wish we could see a video of your mail lady just for some comic relief! Just remember though by this time next year, we can all come back here and reassure people that it all works out in the end!

@mabel15 I would love to hear about your experience at FSU. My D auditioned in NY (acting) so we haven’t visited.
@mabel15 don’t give up on the tickets, while my D was auditioning we also wanted to see some sold out shows. I decided to show up right when the box office opened (1 hour before show time) and someone donated tickets back, we got into the show!
For those receiving acceptances from Rider after Chicago walk-ins… how were your children notified (e-mail, portal, etc.)? My stomach is churning through all of this!

just got the mail today…nothing!!! all week nothing…which is better then something bad…but still…
we need to go on a trip or something…but there is no money left after all of these auditions!
@singoutlouise that’s so funny! I thought the same thing. We need to leave town for a week. But we need to save every dime for a campus visit. At least I hope we do have to make a campus visit, that would mean we have options!
