Does anyone know when will Penn State release the Financial Aid information for admitted students?

@moms2024 , PSU sends out notifications for new students and transfers in mid Feb. Current students don’t receive any word until mid June. It’s my understanding from this site, along with PSU parents FB page, that financial aid and merit tend to be disappointing. Penn State has lots of high stat / high achieving kids from whom to pick who pay full price. It doesn’t mean it won’t happen, but prepare to be underwhelmed by the offer. Unlike other schools, they don’t meet 100% of need. And a lot of “aid” takes the form of loans as opposed to grants.

Accepted to main campus!!!
1500 SAT, 3.8 GPA, mom and grandmother are legacy.

SO happy  Family tradition continues!!!

My son received word on portal Friday of his acceptance. - college of health and human development
3.3 UW/4.2 weighted
Multiple Honors and AP classes and passed 2 AP exams with 5’s
SAT 1190
Varsity soccer Captain and 4 year Varsity athlete starting every game in his high school career. Held other leadership roles throughout school.
I went to Penn State and hold BS, MD, and graduate medical training from Hershey Med
URM - Hispanic
OOS - Florida
His extenuating circumstance is that he has mild epilepsy and that he had to battle and overcome effects of that with ADD and mild speech difficulties and tics. He wrote an essay that encompasses his struggles and accomplishments with respect to this. That had to hold some weight as his academics were borderline at best for Main Campus. He has been accepted to all of the other schools he applied to but this was by far his number one choice.

@Sophley, Thank you for your response. Very helpful info.
