Please note that the School of Music, Theatre & Dance (SMTD) and the Taubman College of Architecture + Urban Planning cannot participate in the Early Action program because of audition/interview (SMTD) and portfolio (Architecture) processes.
SMTD applications are due December 1. Applicants will receive an admission decision following their audition and/or interview.

I’m so confused. I thought the tweet from last year with the 2:15 time stamp was posted by someone in the Pacific Time zone, and the one with the 5:15 time stamp was the same tweet, but posted by someone in the Eastern Time zone. Since Michigan is ET, aren’t we taking about a 5pm ET release?

The tweet came at 5:15 EST, but the first decisions started coming out at 3 EST (you can check the 2023 EA thread). So, decisions will start coming out before we get a tweet or Facebook post, probably.

How reliable is the person who posted? Seems like every year, there are people on CC who think it’s funny to set up new accounts and allege that they’ve gotten their decision, when everyone is waiting anxiously. I’m always suspicious when it’s a brand new account and no one else has a decision yet, especially if their reported stats are out of line with the decision the allege to have gotten.
@momzilla2D Good question. You know, you may have found the trouble.
Decisions started being posted here on CC at 3:01 PM EST/12:01 PST.
The tweet shows on my computer as 2:16 PM (no xST), but I’m assuming that’s PST. However, the tweet doesn’t have to be necessarily tweeted out prior to decisions being released.
