Appreciate the input and will heed the advice. This is my 2nd go around (his sister is a frosh at Smith) so just trying to guide him gently, but I think I will just stay out of his way. Any thoughts on schools? He says he’s only applying to MIT🥲 but also says he wants to go west. Probably realistically looking for a good cs school on west coast on a budget. Possibly the southeast? He wants to get out of the Midwest for sure. He’s off to a good start academically but it’s still early. No ACT or SAT yet.
