Personally, I would not recommend the Crowne Plaza. It sits directly over the Mass Pike. I stayed there while my son was at orientation. I had read the reviews and many had mentioned that the noise from the Mass Pike was very loud and disruptive but that if I asked for a room that was high up, and furthest from the Pike it would be ok. I did get a room on a higher floor, away from the road, and not only was it loud, the vibrations from the trucks roaring down the highway made the handle on my door shake so much that I thought someone was trying to get into my room. The Crowne Plaza might be convenient to campus but, in my opinion, the noise was certainly not worth it.
