Clemson Admissions - Class of 2023 DISCUSSION

My daughter’s Tigertown Bound acceptance arrived today in Murrells Inlet, SC. Both hacks worked beginning Tuesday, February 5.
English Major
1200 SAT
5.035 weighted GPA

9 out of 175

8 AP classes
Palmetto Fellows

Congratulations and best of luck to everyone!

Nothing here in Maryland today…

Does anyone know if all merit scholarships for OOS have been released. If not when they will be?

The portal hack says “we are unable to determine your application status” does that mean I’m denied? My friends with lower test scores and GPA’s have gotten into the bridge program… can someone update me on what this means?

@aaron1304 Looks like your son is in the range according to the net price calculator. Did his acceptance letter say anything about a scholarship? Earlier acceptances had a line in there about scholarships but didn’t give the amount. Also did his school provide information that showed he was in the top 15%? And did he apply by December 1?

Nothing in Maryland…I have family in South Carolina and when they send me snail mail, it usually takes 2 days and that’s it…this seems crazy long!

He applied by the deadline and yes his transcript said he was top 15%. His acceptance did not say anything about scholarships so we were just curious if that meant he didn’t get one or if he had to wait.

Acceptance came today in RI! Hack changed last tuesday

Both back-end “hacks” worked as of 2/5, and TigerTownBound envelop arrived today in Central NJ. Will post stats on other thread. Right now cannot find any financial aid info on iRoar – frustrated because decision will be based on it. Naturally, mail comes after Clemson offices close, lol.

Nothing in MD today.

Got my packet today in Marietta, GA!
3.83 GPA
1400 SAT
7 AP classes
2 Varsity Sports, some clubs

got into Psychology, my first choice major. Go Tigers!

Got packet in ATL today!

Do you know if rejection letters were mailed out the same day as acceptance packets?

@aaron1304 He can log into his iroar portal and see if it shows a scholarship award. If not, I’d contact admissions. Also run the net price calculator if you haven’t already.

@xn3mom Ok thank you for the help

I’m assuming that if people near you received acceptances and you haven’t, chances are you were denied. As someone still waiting for my decision (hacks never changed) I am not very optimistic. (based on the assumption rejection letters were mailed separately)

@GrBraxton and @OHMImom Someone received a rejection letter today in Greenville, SC, many posts back - #956

Is this the last round of acceptances? Got my app in last minute- wondering if that makes any difference. In MA, hacks don’t work and nothing in mail.

@Leemarie66 Your packet of info has a section on financial aid. It’s says they don’t provide that info until April, but I recall reading in one of these feeds that they “hope” it get it out earlier…you needed to have submitted the Fafsa by Jan 2nd for priority.

Got a waitlist letter in MD. Does anyone know the chances of getting in off the waitlist?
