Still waiting here in central NJ. Everyone in my child’s school got acceptances/denials/waitlist several days ago. Wondering if it got lost in the mail or if they are waiting for mid year grades to decide.
Nothing yet in OH. All hacks worked beginning last Tuesday, and were able to register for Future Tiger day! Trying to patiently wait for the mail. Someone kindly reminded me that even though the video was posted showing packets sent out Thurs, that’s prob when they started going out over the course of several days. I was also reminded that things aren’t done by geography, but different admissions people each working through a list - so that’s why someone up the street may receive something before you! Small envelope here in Ohio, meaning denial or waitlist. I’ve posted stats multiple times in the forum for those interested. I think it really came down to class rank, which my school doesn’t do. Been nice getting to wait anxiously with you guys! Congratulations to all that get in!
I am in Ocean County NJ. Our son has a half day so we hunted down the mail truck and she pulled his acceptance letter and gave it to us so we could celebrate his acceptance properly. Stay calm. STAY POSITIVE. They are in the mail! Oh… and as a former Clemson grad myself I’d like to congratulate you as well!
No worries, its a good life lesson. Next time he needs to work harder if he wants something that bad. His number one choice is USC. Still haven’t heard back from them, he was accepted at Appalachian State and Winthrop already. So he has some good choices. I have heard Boone is really nice, and App State is a great business school. A lot of big companies get interns through them.
My triplets applied on 8/1 and we are STILL WAITING!!! I am pretty sure the stress of this process is taking years off my life!!!
Any insights on how folks on this board have or will celebrate? My son is very fickle (doesn’t really care to go out for dinner) so I am looking for some other out of the box ideas others may have utilized or could suggest. I live in northern NJ and still waiting for the package - hoping the package comes today.
@4n2yrs I have been following the story of your triplets, and I’m so hopeful for you. I don’t think you ever mentioned if you tried the hack, so I’m wondering if you decided to forego it? We had good news for my OOS son, but it turned sour quickly when they offered no merit and no grant money. I have a daughter at Lafayette College. Typically, schools will offer grant money as an offset for more than one child in college…Clemson is the only school out of my son’s acceptances that didn’t offer grant money. Even Lafayette is doing it.
As mentioned above, we got the envelope early and we went to his school and put it in his truck with a dozen orange and purple balloons. Clemson flag is on the post at home with more balloons on mailbox. Tiger Rag will be playing on our Alexa home group and we are in our Clemson garb.
I live in NY and still waiting. The hack didn’t work for us last week which now has me on edge. However, my son had just come back from an interview at Brooks Perf Arts for their Audio Tech program, so I’m not sure if a decision would have been made that quickly after his interview. We decided not to try again and just wait for SNAIL mail!! His stats:

GPA: 3.8 (our school doesn’t rank)
3 APs (incl. a year-long self-study AP Comp Sci class through Purdue, which, btw rejected him.)
2 sports, 10 years classically trained pianist (needed music background for Audio Tech)

Didn’t come in today’s mail. Southern NJ. Maybe they went out by major?? Anyone else pre-vet/animal science majors that have or have not gotten a decision?
A friend of mine called admissions yesterday and they told her the last of the acceptance packets were mailed out yesterday.

My daughter has patiently been waiting for her decision through the mail. She didn’t want to try the hack because this was the only school she applied to that gave notice through mail. After all this waiting she actually got an email this morning congratulating her on her acceptance. Package ironically came today too. She’s super excited but
