Clemson Class of 2028 Official Thread

Congrats, @leslieboyd! Do you want to share stats?

when do we hear about merit aid (if any)? would it have been in the acceptance letter?

Can people share stats? I’m still waiting for my daughter to log on.

People are saying in letter and others from last year said they got some merit and it was not mentioned in the letter. so we will only know when the times comes I think

Son OOS, 4.3 gpa, 32 ACT
deferred from EA, then waitlisted RD

Deferred to waitlist.

Please post status and stats … FYI there are still a TON of kids that were accepted on the “Clemson class of 2028” INSTAGRAM page that are still undecided. Read their Bio’s!
I would say more are undecided than committed. As they start making their decisions, LOTS will move from waitlist to accepted. Don’t get discouraged ! BEST OF LUCK!

here’s what was written in regards to merit aid: “Your record has set you apart from a strong pool of students. Therefore, we are pleased to offer you an academic scholarship. You will receive a detailed financial aid award offer, including scholarships, in April 2024. To learn more about scholarship deadlines and information, please visit the Financial Aid website.”

Oh - so they don’t give you an amount?

no not until later

Deferred EA to RD and now WL. sigh. Will stay on the list and change major from business to undecided, too.

OOS
SAT 1350
GPA 4.0W, 3.6UW
11 IB classes (10th gr to 12gr)
Heavy EC, travel soccer, club soccer, NHS, volunteerism, part time job

Congrats to the admitted! Good luck to all

You deserve it! Congrats.

I feel like my kid is applying to the same schools you applied to - I see you on all the same boards!

Does anyone know if Clemson “bridge accepted students” have a better chance of getting into Clemson for the fall than WListed candidates ( all things being equal)?
