Clothing-Challenged: I need help!

I promised to post my review of the Jiffy 2000 steamer which I ordered from Costco, but I have not been able to do any steaming because it was too darn hot! Finally, the temperatures are back to normal for the season mid-sixties, and I got to play with my new steamer. Assembly was a piece of cake: as soon as I attached the hose and the metal rod to the base, the machine was ready to go. It takes only 2 minutes for the steamer to be fully ready, which makes it perfect for a person in a hurry who needs to freshen up a dress that got a bit wrinkled after spending some time on the closet rack. The steamer is a BEAST - it smoothes wrinkly fabrics very well. No wonder clothng stores employees love this brand. The only negative is that there is no auto-shut off button, so the user has to remember to turn the steamer off.

I’m in, BB! Ordering your steamer ASAP. Thank you!

Sounds great! I’ve been putting off replacing my 30 yr old Rowenta steamer (the steamer lasted way longer than the iron) and the Jiffy sounds perfect.

I’ve always wanted a steamer!

Thanks for the info BB. DH covets a steamer. I think he also harbors hopes for a magical steam dryer that completely eliminates wrinkles. Anyone have experience with steam dryers as well? The steamer sounds like the perfect interim measure.
