<p>point2010 - yep, plebes can be on the boxing team. I have a few friends who are on it. Technically, I believe plebes are not allowed to try-out until they have taken Plebe Boxing, but some people can get ‘recruited’ out of that class to join the team. I’m a girl, so I don’t take boxing, but from what I can tell it’s a pretty good deal to be on the team. :)</p>
<p>envee06: Sandhurst is pretty hooah - and I hesitate to use that word. 
They have to do a lot of really tough training. Each company has an individual team, and they all represent each regiment. They have to do a lot of running, buddy-carrying people and equipment up hills, gas-mask ruck running, shooting, the whole works. But, there are many benifits for being on the team. For one, the plebes get to be on first-name basis with the upperclassmen. Another, it provides all sorts of really great experiences and practice. We go to a military school, so Sandhurst is sort of the epitome of the military training. Of course, it is also dangerous (in the sense that people get seriously hurt every year). My friends on the team are entirely smoked by the time they’re done with practice, and ‘serious’ training doesn’t even start until the end of this month. Hope that helps a bit!</p>
