For those accepted, did you see graphics when you logged into the portal, or when you opened the decision? Just curious!

S’s was very bare bones…he initially said, ā€œnopeā€ because there was no confetti or anything, then, ā€œwait–it says congratulationsā€

Waitlisted! didn’t receive a css fee waiver so this is a surprise

Anyone have waitlist data from past years? Since Colby meets need is it correct to assume that Fafsa delays are less of an issue here?

interestingly, there was no FAFSA-related info on my son’s FA offer…other CSS schools have estimated a pell and federal work-study for him, but this one has it all listed as grants. I’m sure they’ll be happy to replace some of that with pell money if he does get it, but they don’t seem to be worrying about federal money at all for initial FA offers. So I don’t think the FAFSA mess has impacted anything there.

Son accepted. 101/100 gpa. 33 ACT. Varsity athlete, Honors Band and lots of science related activities and awards.

I would think that means more of those accepted will attend, and less kids pulled from the waitlist than other schools where the financial aid is a big driver

My sister was accepted! Congrats to all who got accepted.
