Moreover, no one goes into college assuming that they will be in the bottom half of the graduating class, yet 49.9% are guaranteed to be just that. Assuming that any matriculating Frosh will “do well enough” is a fool’s-errand. At best, the OP should assume that s/he will be mid-point, and with debt. </p>
