My son went test optional. I know that’s not supposed to impact the decision but I’m not sure about all that. So without 1440 or whatever I feel like everything else needs to be almost ridiculous. He’s a good student with good extracurriculars, but we’re… what do they call it? Unhooked? No personal connections to the school, not a recruited athlete. So given the very low acceptance rate we’re just being realistic. Maybe he’ll click some boxes they want to fill to round out the class, but we’re not thinking beyond that for schools like this, and he’s already accepted to some places he likes.
So right now it’s really all about financial aid.
