My mother kept on me about joining a few schools online community etc. I immediately saw that Lehigh would be a good fit.
Not only did my professors email, we set up zoom meets one on one. When we later had a group me they recalled some points that we spoke about earlier. They were all great and they will all be teaching my first year core classes.
My choices were also arts alive or stem.
also, follow them on instagram…theyre great with that too.
@lofihiphop D21 sees the Lehigh campus as a great way to keep off the freshman 15! LOL We’re going to drive by the campus tomorrow since we’re not too far away, just to get out of the house a bit! Colgate also was a hilly campus. Can’t compare to Lehigh until we see it tomorrow!
By reputation, you should expect the depth of RPI’s courses to exceed that of many, but far from all, other colleges. If you can get past the potentially counterproductive aspect of intimidation, then you should be able evaluate your level of preparation for and interest in this type of possibly rewarding environment.
Lehigh is very rigorous. No easy As and plenty of classes where the average on a test is a 60. You learn to work hard and to ask many questions. Work was a breeze after such a rigorous education.
Fun fact. The founder of Colgate was a fierce political rival of Alexander Hamilton. Founder of Hamilton and the inspiration for the big broadway musical.
Well he really wanted to anger his rival. That’s why he located Colgate right in the heart of the town named for him.
In light of the fact that Colgate University was founded 15 years after Alexander Hamilton’s tragic death, that seems a bit like fun fiction, @privatebanker.
