College admits over 200 students for Early Decision Rounds I and II to fill Class of 2024

@xyz123a Thank you! He’s starting to get happy about it.

Tough to fault Colby here , they study the system and found a way to stand out, is it fair to donut hole families , which my family is , no not really but such is life. Perhaps colleges will decide if they want more middle class kids ( what ever you decide what middle class is) and change some of their yield. BUT no one makes anyone go ED, in my house ED is not an option for my kids, we need to see what the offers are, will my kids miss out on a Tulane or a Cornell or a Colby, yes but at the end of the day they will end up someplace we can afford without selling our soul and they will graduate with very little debt, which we find more valuable than a Tulane, Cornell or Colby degree. Colleges are a business and for them ED makes very good business sense.

@charlie22 , Congrats on Trinity. There was a great article on Trinity in The NY Times Sunday magazine about this very topic and how hard it is for admissions to balance ED vs RD

@NJdad07090 Thank you! I think I may have read that article. But, I’ll read it again as “comfort”.
