<p>Another thing to consider: If you do take the college route, and if you take as many “plebe” courses as possible (see above), then you’ll be able to validate them when you get to USNA, and either take more electives or skate, depending on your desires.</p>
<p>Other edge of the sword, of course, is that you’ll be carrying a much more difficult class payload as a plebe. It WILL be worth it later, though.</p>
