I was on a field trip today and figured flannel would be enough, but I was freezing the entire hike back (we were doing habitat restoration on the way there). I was like, this has got to be the coldest spring day on record around here. Then I went back to my dorm and discovered it was 60 degrees. ~O)
If it’s 40+ out people wear sun dresses here… Siri lied to me a couple weeks ago and said the midday high would be 57 so I decided to leave my coat at home only to find out that the high was a balmy 34 degrees and I had absolutely no layers on

It’s like high 50s around here, and people are complaining… Honestly, these people, I wonder HOW they even went skiing if THIS is cold.
Californians up in their ivory tower of warmth. @quidditchcat
Give us your snow and we’ll melt it to drink! color=gold [/color]
I had to call off work today. I have had a bad headcold from my allergies, and I just did not want to deal with customers with this cold. I also have this deep, wheezing cough that makes me have over-dramatic convulsions every time I cough. I never call off work because I overthink it and make myself feel guilty, but whatever.
Girlfriend of two years and I broke up at the most inconvenient time: I have two midterms Tuesday, one midterm Thursday, one paper Friday.
I emailed my speech professor about picking up my evaluation sheet for my speech. She cancelled class for this week, but she said that she would leave the evaluation sheets with the secretary, and we could pick them up.
She told me that I “did well.” I don’t know about you guys, but “did well” doesn’t really tell me anything. Did I do an exceptional job, an average job, or could it have been better? Haha.
@NewBeginnings3 Part of me wants to criticize you for being neurotic but another part of me sympathizes because I’d feel the same exact way, lol.
I cut a good 14+ inches of my hair off on a whim. I love it.
lol, my hair isn’t even that long!
I just spent the weekend doing nothing at all.
I found out that I got an A on my speech! I only have one more to give, so I should get an A in the class. I have to lose 35 more points in order to drop from an A to an A-, and I don’t plan on doing that.
@Vctory =’( I’m sorry to hear that. I recommend running; seems to have a calming effect on most guys that I know.
So I’m currently at school and I’m waiting for a law school admissions panel thing and I thought the affair was gonna be casual (they said that we could arrive late or leave early, etc) but I just reread the email and apparently there’s gonna be networking and I’m in yoga pants

I hate myself.
lol that’s #firstworldproblems
so I’m on the second to the top story in the math building and it smells like a swimming pool… I wonder if there’s a rooftop swimming pool lol… I don’t think there’s roof access though.
Turns out no one was dressed up (even some of the lawyers were in casual wear) - so I was okay. There was like a mingling session at the end and I talked to one attorney who’s a partner in a Boston firm and I asked him about projections for employment and he said basically what everyone says - still very competitive but better than it was in 08/09/10.
I am always tired.
You can find me on the Charles River :ar!
MIT is such a bizarre, fascinating place.
