College Class of 2017

It is a lot

Yay us!

applauses contributors

Ya there’s nothing but games on the hs threads like no one is asking about what classes to take or how to get help.

Man I’m too annoyed with Youtube + Google. I don’t want email everytime someone reply to a comment that I reply on… what the heck is this facebook?

Umm its always been like that. Unless you turn it off, you’ll get emails for updates on subscriptions, people replying to your comment & people that send you a video in your inbox.

But what i hate about gmail is that now your email is saved when you sign out! Like I dont need people at the library to know my email.

^I don’t think it was like that when I reply to another person comment. I never turned off email thingy.

So I’m not joking or anything when I say this, but I seriously feel like dropping out of college. Like college is so BORING! Don’t say “Join stuff” I literally do so much already. Even hanging out with my friends is boring to me (they have fun, I just fake it). The course work is boring (I’m not even in gen eds!). Everything is just BORING!

I want to go out and see the world! I’ve literally been stuck in this one state for my whole life. I’ve lived in the same city my whole life. When I lived with my parents we always stayed in one house. I use to think that going to a city that was 30min away was a big trip. I finally realized how big this world really is! I want to see it all! I don’t want to spend the rest of my life in one place doing the same thing over and over.

Ugh. Idk…

I’m sorry you’re feeling like this, Zombie. Have you looked into some summer study abroad trips or even exchange programs?

Just know you will not stay in the same place your whole life. Why? because this eagerness and the desire you feel right now that makes you want to get out there and experience the world will prevent that from ever happening. Now you just need to act on your desire.

Niquii77! Omg! I just remembered we’re both in college, I think! Did you end up attending UF?

If you can’t enjoy college, I’m afraid you’re probably also not likely to enjoy post-college.

Qube? takes off glasses Is that you???!!1!

Welcome back and welcome to the party.

No, I don’t go to UF. I go to USF. That’d be so awesome if we ended up at the same place. :p

Join the drinking team zombie

I know what you mean Dante! Well about never going anywhere. I feel like I don’t get out much & people think I’m weird for never moving or traveling outside my state.

If I were you I’d travel on Thanksgiving or Winter break to another state. Or if you can afford it to another country! The furthermost ive been alone was to my states capitol. It took about 4 hrs on public transportation but it was interesting. My mom wasn’t too happy about that……… but I might do it again this winter break or go someplace further away ;)

Meanwhile I will barely pass two of my classes. I might have to retake them… hmm :/

Simple Descuff

less time playing Call of Duty Ghosts

What? Why, Descuff? How are you doing?

I think he is failing some classes

Ew why would I play CoD 3 version 6.0 HD.

@Niquii, I’m pretty sure one of my class, physics I’m going to fail. On top of that, I been reading the materials, went to these extra help session and even studied but I still barely understand anything in this book. Aside from simple fact. I think I did better on the exam today but I wouldn’t count on it.

I’m sorry you’re going through this. :frowning: Do you think it has to do how the material is presented or how your teacher grades?

Calculus has been rough for me. It sucks because I just learned this last year and the same stuff is tripping me up. Not to mention, I’m having to teach myself the material since my teacher isn’t the best. But the positive to this is the more effort I put in the easier things are becoming.

Well I don’t think it’s a matter of grading, I think it’s the way the material is presented. Like I don’t recall ANY of this stuff from high school physics. And we have to memorized all these equations for the test. Also I’m a book person not a online person when it come to homework. Like all of these homework are online. I can do the ones in the book but I have no way of knowing “how does one get this answer” or something like that.

I’m a more hand on person anyway.

I feel honored to have the 2000th post.
