I don’t get Descuff’s one though.

I liked the first one better xD

I liked the first one better xD

Y’all are kinda dorky.

I ended up actually getting a hug after offering the new girl on my hall a piece of apple pie. Biggest, most surprising hug I’ve ever gotten from such a tiny girl.

I resent that

I wonder where da mint has been…

Hey all, just going to join in here.

I don’t know how I’m going to pull through the end of this semester. I feel like I’m going to get a C or something in calculus and it makes me feel like an idiot. Especially because I’m trying here and I’m doing lousy anyway.

Beginning of the semester I got tickets for my favorite band, playing on the 24th, and my parents decided to throw in a bit of money and make it a family trip to Atlanta. I thought hey, it’s a couple weeks before my finals, I’ll be fine!

Fast forward to now, I have a presentation, project, (not final) exam, and various bits of homework due the very day after the concert.

My other classes besides calculus are going okay, but no guarunteed A’s.

I don’t know, just feel a bit of a mess and a failure. Like I have all these aspirations but at the end of the semester, I’ll have accomplished not much and a bit worse than many others. Feeling a little down :(

Hey, man. Don’t feel like a failure.

You think you’re going to get a C in calculus. I KNOW I’m getting a C in calculus. I came. I saw. And I did not conquer that course.
Some things you just have to let it be. As long as you gave it your best, brush yourself off, and try harder then next time.

Don’t expect college to be easy. Don’t compare yourself to others. You’re going through different things than they are. Who knows, there may be a time when you’re flying high like a kite and they’re struggling. We all go through these cycles.

For me, college has been hard. So hard. This is by far the hardest things I have had to go thorugh my entire life. Yet, I know when I get through my rough patch I will be a stronger, better person. You just have to look at the bright side of things and turn towards the positives.

You can do this.

Lol yes im always the lame nerdy one, oh well :rolleyes:

& I’ll probably get a D but a C would be nice so I don’t have to retake Calculus again

What the actual f—? I studied hard for that last calculus exam moreso than I ever did for the previous exams and I get a zero. I need to check this BS. Otherwise I’ll be very damned if I actually literally got a zero. I mean I had never zeroed a math test. NEVER in my life. I’m scared ya’ll.

But anyway: I’m trying to schedule my classes and I want a different approach. Instead of having mainly afternoon classes, I want more morning classes (including the dreaded 7:30am). This way I will be mentally forced to do more of everything. I figure if I can make it through most of high school with morning to afternoon classes, why not college? I definitely am going to have a different approach to “learning” next semester (since I do not even understand physics. >.>) But yea I really want morning classes. I don’t really like afternoon as much as I thought I would. Actually if I could do evening… I would love that.

Omg ur freaking kidding!?
It has to be a mistake, don’t you at least get credit for showing work.
Maybe you wrote the answers in the wrong order or something.

Ok whew. They just didn’t upload the grade then. I’m okay now. Thanks god. Still gotta retake the class though lol.

Welll…

@Niquii

Thanks. I’ll pull through this. Guess it’s hard to accept that you’re not the smartest kid in the class anymore and A’s take real effort. (And sometimes effort doesn’t make A’s :p)

I grit my teeth and stayed up till 4:30ish last night doing calculus - should have a full score on that homework and I got an A on the quiz this morning. So a little ray of sunshine even if I will get slaughtered during the next exam :)

What universities are you all at by the way? I’m at University of Florida :)

Omigosh, Descuff. Please do not scare me like that.

My jaw literally dropped.

Lol There is no way in hell I am taking Calculus II over again. Hell. No.

@swebber Well…well…well, aren’t we close. (I don’t go to UF.)

Great news! Admist all the BS my teachers have been throwing at me, something positive has happened. I was accepted into a study abroad program! YAY for traveling.

Well i got a D on my last test i was expecting an F!

Calculus III has been a breeze, Differential Equations is the death of a mathematician (first hard math class I’ve ever had).
Getting my test grade back in 2.5 hours and fear the worst…
Okay, DE at a community college is deprived of new concepts or theory–
All it is is an encyclopedia of different types of differential equations and the techniques to solve them and the processes tax memory space. It has the most algebra / has the longest problems ever in a math class (1 test question took 3 pages), sometimes you question why you have to learn this stuff.

I shall pat you on the back ForeIN because you did not fail!

@swebber: Purdue here. Boiler up!
Although failing calculas was a personal error (And the prof wasn’t that good but whatever.) Retaking it in hope of a better GPA. I truly believe I can make a 4.0 semester…looks at English being on the schedule… What the heck?

**3.75 semester then…

So did anybody hear about Liberty today? I tried to see if there was anything on this site and was surprised not to see anything according to the search…

What about Liberty/
