<p>@Apollo11 It’s Parli. It can be cool at times, but me and my partner don’t sync up perfectly all the time. Also I’m not a history, politics, or economy type person (I’m straight science) I’m usually left behind </p>

<p>Ah, I see. Yeah, Parli sucks without a great friend. However, if you have your best friend as your partner and really know history/politics/the economy [strait humanities person here] it can be a great time. I really like the humor of it in a great debate, wherein your opponents aren’t too enraged at your statements that you start to have just a nice conversation, and the judge is really mellow about it and it eventually becomes a system of jokes and witty rhetoric.</p>
<p>Of course, Parli can also be hell-on-earth, as the time limit is unforgiving if you can’t pace and some teams/resolutions are just absolute %@#% at times.</p>
<p>However, even in those cases, I’m usually bummed since I feel like I should have won.</p>
<p>And now, all I can think about it debating. I’m really competitive and all I want to do is win, so debate is great for me, but I really appreciate the nuanced aspects of it.</p>

<p>LOL! But in all seriousness, I’m going to buy my first car today (yes I haven’t had a car this whole time). I’m really nervous. Also, I feel like a big spoiled brat because that car I’m getting is a 2008 and has a lot of features and has heated leather seats. It’s only $8k though and I’m making the payments mostly myself (parents are giving me a little to help pay each much, but it is mostly me). I’m nervous everyone will think I’m a brat lol…sigh</p>
