I haven’t seen my roommate since like not last Friday but last, last Friday.

I found 2 people who are super nice, and we can actually hold a conversation, but they are roommates. I want to hang out with them, but I don’t want to bother them… I hung out with them last night, and ate breakfast with them yesterday as well. This small school BS sucks lol. How have people made cliques in literally 4 days?

Please read the roommate thread and give me advice! I need some advice like ASAP

Am I the only one who is enjoying the college life? I haven’t even gone to a real party yet but everything seem to be the ideal condition. Of course I doubt everyone here is having a good time as me.
Could it that a big school have way more benefit than smaller school?

Curious, how many of you are in Ivy league schools or top schools like MIT?

I’m enjoying this place. Our late night “lounge parties” are incredible. Just not enjoying adjusting to a medical diagnosis, medication, and work.

I met a guy at lunch in D-hall who started a short conversation with “I love your hair” and I found him on Facebook (through Googling his first name + longwood) and I’m debating messaging him…

I’m enjoying it. Haven’t done much socially but I like the people I have met, I just haven’t seen anyone often enough to make any close friends. I’m at Ohio Stats, so that’s about as big as it gets… I’m also from Seattle, so I don’t exactly have the option of going home whenever I want
in some ways that’s easier, cause I can’t just go back to familiar people and faces.

ZOMBIE!

Your roommate LEFT???!1!!

My roommate apparently said that if either of us switches rooms, it has to be me. I find this out from my suitemate. Yay. Also, the girl who needs her smoking roommate out apparently was told that the girl wants to room with mine…

@Niquii77 YESSS!!! Like randomly! I woke up this morning and he was like “Yeah I’m leaving btw” like ***!

@Descuff You broke the rules!! All discussion is done on this thread! Anyway to answer your question, no I’m not gay lol, why did you ask? I’m honestly happy about it now. I’m just kinda nervous that someone else will move in. We are a pretty small school and there are empty rooms. I doubt anyone would move in, but you never know. I hope not. I’m going to email my RA and ask him.

This is sort if funny though. First you thought you didn’t have roommate, then you did, and now you don’t! Make your room into a palace! You can do whatever you want in there.

@Serenity Is that a good thing? That your roommate wants to switch out?

Whoops. When I am in a hurry I tend to bypass several “rules” lol.
@Zombies:
-Just a “quick” question type of thing. If you’ve said yes I would have said something much different and went of psychology on you.
-In that case, just take advantage of the extra space.

@Serenity: (your d-hall post not the roommate post)-
-Ooooo
I would say hi. Don’t expect any crazy relationship forming. Just say hi to that guy and get something going at least.

Descuff.

Stahp.

^ Don’t be a party pooper.

We understand. You’re having the time of your life. Just because we complain doesn’t mean we don’t have fun.

Tell him gurl!!

Wait wait? I literally meant that question lol. I complained a few times myself.

I like having her as a roommate. We coexist rather well.

I just wanted to say hi, silly. I don’t know what you’re thinking. I have far too much **** going on to be looking for anything more than friends this semester.

Shooo. Serenity ain’t got no time fo no man.

Not to mention the guy was like the exact opposite of my type guy-wise. He’s the exact type of person I love to have as a friend but as far as attraction, that ain’t gonna happen.

I am so happy I took Calc 1. Not because I don’t know it (so far my memory recall on limits is great) but because the professor is awesome. I pulled out my electric pencil sharpener for a second and he thought the noise sounded like a dentist’s drill. Then he started joking about monks doing Calculus to help their souls and telling us it would help our souls and I was like “You act like we have souls.” He didn’t know exactly what to say back to that. One of the guys was like “This coming from the dentist.” I love young professors…
