NEU does not announce in advance - they just release decisions and then post on social media. Usually the 2nd week of February.

Would you mind sharing what the email said? Doesn’t seem like a mass email was sent out to all applicants, was it a response to an email your son sent a regional admissions officer at Villanova?

It was a general email to my son who applied to Loyola Maryland EA, not Villanova, that said admissions decisions would be released 1/18 at 3PM EST

Smith EDII will be out January 26 between 3:00 and 5:00 PM per an email they sent to school counselors.
Rumors Umich may try to release decisions by tomorrow.

The EA thread here on CC is blowing up bc people are seeing changes in their portals. Colors, maybe some other stuff. In prior years, this stuff supposedly only appeared the actual week of decisions. If that holds true, then it’d be tomorrow.
Aka portal astrology, no official sourcing.
An email received from a UMich admissions counselor said that they were planning to release the decisions by the last February of January, but they are hoping final decisions are made early enough that they can release them a week earlier.
