Rice University ED I results come out this Saturday, Dec 14th, after 9:00 am. I just received an email from Rice stating this (on the website it said by mid-December)

Catholic University just sent an email that they will announce EA and ED decisions on December 16th at 7:00 pm EST.

Providence College sent an email to applicants indicating Early Action decisions will be released the evening of 12/17

@MMMom1, just to confirm, this is The Catholic University of America and they will release both EA & ED on the same date, correct?

Duke just sent an email saying ED is out Monday, December 16, 2024 beginning at 7:00 p.m. Eastern Time

It’s hard with schools that have maintained radio silence when peer institutions have been more communicative and transparent about when decisions will be released.

The lack of transparency is almost to the point of just plain annoying. I feel like I’m waiting at a doctor’s office when the doctor is super late and you have no idea when they’ll get to you but you’re sick so you have to stay.
Yup. It definitely dampens some enthusiasm for the institution.

Agreed. I start thinking, is this how it’s going to be for everything having to do with these schools? Uncommunicative and not transparent? And do I want to deal with 4+ years of that?

Stony Brook just emailed EA applicants to let them know that a batch of decisions will be released this Friday, 12/13.
