<p>The percentage of people who leave Clemson after a semester or a year isn’t that high. The majority of people who do will either switch to an in-state school with lower tuition or they give up after the intro to engineering course. I also toured Elon and determined that I didn’t like it because it was too small with nothing to do (I’m not alone in that opinion). A lot of small colleges have that kind of feel to them if they’re not near a city.</p>

<p>I plan to visit on either March 1 or the March 3 Honors College day. My major will be International Business (I forget the exact name of what it would be called).</p>
<p>If you’re concern with expense, you will want to look at the publics that offer decent merit aid (U of Alabama for example, but not UF) and some/many of the privates (as they can also offer decent merit and FA. Vanderbilt, for example, offers a great aid packages that doesn’t include loans. </p>
