My daughter loves everything about it.

This analysis from several years ago may help you roughly compare colleges by relative selectivity (note that the scores shown reflect an earlier version of the SAT exam):

@LetMe1n

Are you NMSF ? Fordham will give full tuition scholarship for NMSF high stat student.

If not, you may end up paying $60K/year for COA after 20K scholarship, which I think a few people received after EA admissions. Fordham is a good school but also VERY expensive to attend.

I applied EA to Miami in order to be considered for their scholarships. However, after comparing to UF, I’m not sure which way to go, as both would offer significant scholarships, but neither would take me out of state. I’d love some input if you have an opinion on UM vs. UF.

My sister looked into Emerson (for grad school), but they didn’t offer any money and their program didn’t seem to match up to BU or Northeastern’s, which is why I haven’t considered them. But, I will look at their undergrad and see if it differs.

Thanks!

Three of my four safety schools are in Florida; the other is Fordham. I am concerned about the size of UF (50k!), but when I toured, it seemed better than I expected.

Big schools do a good job of making themselves feel smaller with living learning communities. Plus once you are entrenched in your major, it gets smaller yet again. Don’t let the size throw you. IMO it just means more opportunities :slight_smile:
