We went to Cheyenne Wyoming last year. The penitentiary in Laramie Wyoming that held Butch Cassidy was very interesting.

I’ll be honest as soon as she decided I fell into a deep funk. Thinking of my youngest that far away. It just seems so much more major and final than her going to a college (like Temple) 30 minutes away. I’m still struggling but keeping it positive for her. 
As with all things there is no guarantee the decision is the right one. And there were likely many “right ones.”
FWIW my 28 yo also fell in love with CO a few years ago and is actively planning to relocate there.
My job & husband’s will keep us on the east coast for quite a while though.
