@soph1112 Yes! I’m sure you will figure it out. (Again) I am going through the same thing because my back ground and strengths are definitely in mathematics and science, so I was thinking engineering. But I also have a strong passion for political science and economics, and I was scared of confinement if I applyed to the engineering school. So I just decided to pick Financial Economics for my application.

@soph1112 I have a friend who’s applying to Columbia and UChicago (I applied early for both, he’ll do RD) but I won’t really mind if I get in and he doesn’t since we’re in different applicant pools… and also because we’re not super close, lmao. But I would so so super jealous if he got in and I didn’t.
@alpha525 I don’t think it really matter if they download it. Common app won’t send it unless it’s complete. So if they recieved it they know it’s signed.
@Jseesyou2 English and Hispanic/Iberian Studies. I want to go into journalism, most likely with some sort of international aspect since I love foreign languages and cultures.

ehh kind of similar my friend applied ed to Barnard but I feel like since the chances r higher she opted for that but idk is it wrong I feel kind of annoyed she just did it in the span of a few weeks when I’ve loved Columbia forever like i think to her it’s an “easier” way to go to Columbia…idk man I feel like the nervousness is making me crazy and mean bc if she gets in and I don’t I will no doubt be jealous for some time

@969028 I feel ya I talked about how much I loved Columbia for so long and I think a lot of my friends started to fall in love with Columbia bc of my descriptions and then they applied too

@Ovni12 That sounds really cool! I’m pretty set on mine, even though not everyone in my family is 100% on board, I’m pretty stubborn so I don’t think I’ll change majors haha. But anything can happen.
