Soooo… I went into my counselor’s office and she handed me a letter from Columbia but wouldn’t let me read it! She said CONGRATS!

@Yomo710 As of 2 weeks ago, my college counselors have already uploaded the recommendations and school reports to the list of RD schools I selected in Common App. They had a ‘downloaded date’ and a green check on each reports. However, all the downloaded dates disappeared this morning so the pages are all blanked now.

It was more of an, “I’m proud of you” but for applying or getting accepted? Who knows… the one thing I COULD see was that somewhere in the letter it said “10 December”
My recommendations weren’t withdrawn though… soooooo

@BrynMawr61 I agree that not every school pull the recommendations on the same day. I attend a small school and we are starting our X’mas break next week, so college counselors had to work more efficiently than other schools.
Wait, do guidance counselors see our acceptances before us? I didn’t know they could withdraw recommendations like that.
