Reflection
Strengths: strong personal essay (about being an activist and LGBT…); strong recommendations; high SAT; uploaded dance portfolio; interesting and unique topic in one writing supplement; answered questions about favorite books, shows, concerts, exhibits etc. very well (I’m pretty artistic and since I’ve been to New York I focused a lot on museums and concerts in NYC)
Weaknesses: a little big weak academically for an Ivy
Why you think you were accepted/deferred/rejected: fit?

General Comments: Try to be unique (I mean as a person). And show your uniqueness in the application (it might not be as easy as it sounds). For example, I submitted my dance portfolio and built a website to basically advertise myself. I pasted the URL of my website in the additional information section, though I’m not sure whether the AOs looked at it or not.
Good luck everyone. And congrats to those who were also admitted.
