Columbia College More Selective Than Ever in 2008

Since ED programs are binding, the general opinion is that you have a better chance applying early. Schools are all interested in their ability to enroll admitted students.

I thought the ED pool is more self-selective?

Wow, my little brother just got into Columbia.

Decided to use this website to figure out chances for Columiba undergrad to get into Columbia law since I’m a junior here.

I haven’t heard anything about crime on campus.

Columbia 2002 has almost 4,000 posts.

Do you guys get paid?

This is totally bizarre.

Does Columbia 2002 have a job on this board?

Do they pay students to post here?

Weird.

Has Columbia not released its overall, comparable admissions data for 2009? If not, does anyone know why not?

[CC, SEAS ?13 most selective class ever | Columbia Spectator](http://columbiaspectator.com/2009/03/30/cc-seas-13-most-selective-class-ever)

What is the yield rate for the class of 2013? They did not use the waitlist. By how many did Columbia exceed their target class size?

Mainly because of their great financial aid packages. Considering Columbia is located in the muck of NYC (well its not that bad but keep in mind it is still uptown Manhattan) you have a fair amount of underprivileged minorities applying. So a combo of affirmative action and financial instability produces more applicants.

9 month old necro… yum

GOD why did you bumb this thread?!

Titles like that scare me in this already crappy week…haha
