What does the deferral letter look like?
It just says that they’re deferring a final action and to let them know if you still want to be considered in the regular applicant pool
I got deferred. Does anyone know if the rate is higher for deferred candidates or if there’s a specific advantage cuz I’m confused

are u from the US? I’ve heard of very few internationals getting in.
Yeah I heard that most of the international SEAS applicants got deferred. Wondering if it’s true.
in my school, which is a boarding school which has about 16% international students all of the internationals got rejected and only the domestic got in. Im international, and got rejected. I want to see the stats so I can figure out whether its a systematic thing, or if my application was just weak.

I’m a master’s student at Columbia. Congrats to those who were accepted ED - it’s an awesome university with so many resources. To those who were deferred or otherwise, don’t give up hope.
Hi everyone! I am applying to Columbia under RD, and I was wondering if we had to fill out the “Columbia University Outside Scholarship and External Payment Form” if we have not applied to any scholarships yet? And if so, do I just write in that I haven’t applied to any scholarship? Thanks!
