Is there anyone applying to Columbia General Studies 2025 Spring?

I applied for the Early Priority. The wait is killing me.
Seems like not a lot of people applied this year or at least not alot have talked about it.
You are definitely right, there is no relevant discussion about this Spring application on the internet. I’ve seen previous discussions from last year that Priority would have the results come out on that day, October 1 afternoon, and I’m not sure if that’s going to be the case this year? I’m also waiting very anxiously. Good luck to both of us.
Do you think if there are less applicants this year, theres a better chance of us getting in? Please share stats

- Full-time Bar Captain at a 5-star hotel on Park Avenue
- Honors student and member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society
- Former competitive boxer
- Strong personal story
Letters of Recommendation:
- One from a leading feature film producer in my home country
- One from a college professor
Has anyone here received a notification saying something like “your application is ready for review” or “moved to review”? I haven’t gotten anything like that yet.
I have not and another student didn’t either. I called admissions and they said my was being reviewed so I think they are moving slow.
Another poster said people hear the day of (October first).
I got an email about receiving my CUID, if thats what you’re talking about.
I also only got an email about CUID. Nothing else. Will we get any email about under review recently?
Just got an email today with my REF # and email saying my application will be ready review.

Ive been reading past threads and we should be watching out for “awaiting official transcripts” status on our portal to indicate if we get in. But im not sure when we will see that update. Has anyone spoken to anyone on admissions about this? So nervous!

September 29th?
I’m looking for when our portal will have the “awaiting official transcripts” update. Last year someone received it around the 25th but I’m not sure if it’s always around that time.
