How likely are they to retract, i.e. I don’t get in on March 29th? I’m asking because I’m thinking of withdrawing apps from places lower on my list than Columbia (i.e. pretty much all of them). Since I’m in London, and they look at apps regionally here and tons of people are applying from my school, I feel bad about applying for a place I know I will not take.

However, this changes if the LL doesn’t really mean an automatic in and they could still reject me on the day.

Thoughts? Thanks!

P.S.
Basic stats:

Objective:
SAT I (breakdown): First: CR750, M660, W760 Second: CR800, M680, W800)
SAT II: 750 Lit, 760 French w/ Listening
Unweighted GPA: In British system so it’s different, but my grades are high
Rank (percentile if rank is unavailable): School doesn’t rank at all
Senior Year Course Load: A Levels: French, History, History of Art, English Lit
Major Awards (USAMO, Intel etc.): Fairly good debater nationally; won national media prize for school paper I edited.

The stats are unhelpful because I’m in a totally different school system, but I’m assuming what got me in was my supplement, which was by far my best one.
