<p>I’m expecting to ace the easy math section, at least 13/15 on the challenge math section, and about 60/75 science questions right. I’m a sophomore. What are my chances of getting in?</p>
<p>masterofpuppets, probably excellent. there are insanely smart people in the program, but you don’t have to be one of them to get in! & even still, if you do that well on the test, you will be probablly have done better than many shp acceptees. for example, myself ![]()
(to be honest, my brain was so fried after the first section i was sort of just making pretty patterns on my scantron.)</p>
<p>10/15 is probably ok for a junior, too. i got in a freshman with that, but i don’t think they apply much (if any) curve to that part since it’s based more on fluid intelligence than experience/years spent in school. that’s not to say that it can’t be learned-- but if you’re coming in cold and just winging it, freshman and junior of roughly equal intelligence will probably do roughly the same. don’t quote me on that though!</p>
