Good luck everyone! --Class of '14.

i am so unable to focus on work tonight…this is gonna be a rough 3 days…

i know, i feel the same way about the whole telling ppl thing. like soooooo any ppl know im applying to cu, and esp a whole bunch of my friends are eders, so they know that decisions re coming out, and will be expecting answers.

haha and zeke, yessss i think we are all addicted! as soon as i got the email i was like ahhh i need to post! hahaha =] man, i really hope well get in so we can all meet each other.

Hey guys this is my first time posting on collegeconfidential (welcome me)

I just wanted to know where everyone will be on Thursday at 5pm. I don’t have school so i’ll be chilling at my computer.

I’ll be home probably. I have a-team practice until 4pm so I’ll get home by 4:15-ish.

i know! i really want to go to school with all you guys!

i tried opening the e-mail in fourth hour today, but it wouldn’t work, so i could see the e-mail was there, but i couldn’t read what was in it!! so i came over here, to the trusty CC board, and got the information from you guys :] haha i love it

I should probably be doing homework right now but it’s the beginning of the new grading period and i’m feeling a bit more apprehensive about this than about any upcoming tests/quizzes!

Ugh. I really don’t know how I’m going to handle this.
I have 2 DBQs for history, 30 pages to read for AP Gov, my Psychology and hl Maths IAs to finish by friday, My world literature paper 2 for English also due friday, I have my chorus concert tomorrow night, my French oral due on thursday, and midterm essays all this week for all those classes + hl bio.
And yet this is the ONLY thing on my mind. V_V.

Glad I’m not you…lol. New York is the greatest city on earth and i’m not saying that because of columbia. I’ve lived here for almost 18 years and there is no other place for me. (The real-estate could be a bit cheaper tho) 4 more years here would complete me. Even tho I don’t know any of you you’ve provided me with a lot of comfort and camaraderie for these past few months. Thanks and I hope everyone’s dream comes true this Thursday.

yeah. thursday i have my key club meeting, and im prez, so i norm am there until like 4/430? so im actually glad ill be busy … not to say this will be off my mind haha =]

and ahhh i can not wish everyone the best any more haha if that makes sense? i agree, i really hope all our dreams come true on thurs at 5 pm hehe =]

If I don’t get accepted I’ll apply and hopefully go to UPenn. And visit New York every other weekend.

And then go to graduate school there.

Nice, a fellow person from the tri-state region. I live in Northern Jersey…right across the Kill from Staten Island.

Haha, I’m just getting my nails done after school to relax before decisions…
I moved my NHS meeting to a different day, so I could actually focus (since I’m pres) lol
…not doing a very good job right now!

ahhh i don’t know what to do. i have play practice from 3-5 then i should go straight from there to dance rehearsal until 9. i want to come home and check… but if i get rejected, i’ll be miserable slash won’t want to go to dance. if i get accepted i won’t want to go to dance because i’ll want to celebrate. and i didn’t go last week so i have to go this week. ahhhhhhhhhhhh

If i don’t get in i’m probably going to apply fordham and nyu. I really really want to go to nyc! But preferably columbia
Oh and i have track practice…im probably going to break into my coaches office just to check.
my god im so nervous :(

Juanes243, i feel for you. that was me the week before Thanksgiving.

but getting into Columbia would make IB totally worth it.

I live on the Jersey Shore - typically NYC lover. Columbia is my first choice. I’ll probably go to NYU or Fordham if I don’t get in, but I’ll have a lot more trouble paying for either of those schools. I do love Lehigh in Pennsylvania too.

I’ve been convincing myself that the alternatives to Columbia are great - bracing myself for disappointment.

OH MY GOD THURSDAY!!!

typical***

awwwww!!! ok, well what if you decide that you will check it, but no matter what the decision you will go to dance. if you dont get in (hopefully that wont happen =] ) dance could temporarily keep you occupied, if you do, well TELL EVERYONE hehe =]
