It actually might not be a bad thing that they have stayed quiet. I was also waitlisted at UPenn and they straight up said they would barely use the waitlist after the first week. Good luck to all!

uh just want to say there’s been 5 or so people added to the Columbia Class of 2022 Facebook page today and i think 8 new posts so waitlist decisions might have come out this past Friday? Not sure tho.
@onlayonething65832 I haven’t seen any new members added after yesterday? I thought it went down by one person. I could be wrong though
I dont think looking at such marginal changes in the number of people in the fb group really means anything. Often times, the fb group consists not only of the admitted prefrosh, but also current undergrad students, parents and other ppl who join the group to promote their clubs, housing, etc… So looks like we’re blind
Well I have been following the hashtags roar 2022 and Columbia 2022 and no new recent post has been added. This of course assumes people post the news on instagram if taken off wait list so it is still a risky way of checking but still most people do make the news public
I hope they release an update tomorrow. I just want to know where I am going this fall.

I called again today and the person who picked said the waitlisted applicants should be getting information soon
I have a feeling the class is full and I also have a feeling the admissions committee is still reviewing and wants to select from the remaining waitlist…loads of thoughts on what could be happening
However, if they do not plan on admitting any more students, it will be very wicked for them to keep us waiting like this…I mean I flinch every time I get an email …it’s depressing

I think we all need to chill and take a step back since they did say between may 15 and July so it’s normal if they don’t come out immediately. Think of how many supplemental letters they need to review. Also last year on the forum many got released from the 1-3 June. That’s when most of the releases happened.
On Instagram with the hashtag roar2022 I just saw two new posts from yesterday. They both said “change of plans going to Columbia” we can all probably infer that they probably got off the waitlist
