hey I’m still a junior so its still kinda early…but is it true that applying to ed means less scholarship/financial aid?cuz columbia is def my first choice but its kinda too much for undergrad 
That is false. Applying Early or Regular Decision will not impact the amount of financial aid you receive. Columbia’s endowment is about $10 billion dollars, you will receive as much money as you need (speaking from experience, as I was admitted into Columbia ED and only have to pay 3K to attend).
@xxxx1111 Columbia doesn’t offer “scholarships” (in the sense of merit aid) but only need-based financial aid. They will calculate your financial need and meet whatever they determine you need. It doesn’t matter if you apply RD or ED. Just be aware that your FA will depend on what THEY calculate your need to be, not what you think you can afford.
